Veronica is the Educational Development Manager at the RVC and is responsible for the academic support and development of both staff and students on all courses, across both campus. She manages a small team comprised of study skills tutors and an event coordinator. The study skills team offer 121 support for students, embedded teaching sessions and workshops across the whole academic year.
Veronica studied Animal Science at Hartpury College before joining the RVC in 2006. She worked as a research assistant in PPS working on a variety of national and internation projects. She began a PhD at the RVC in 2009 entitled 'Towards eradication of Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae from the UK pig herd. After completing her PhD, Veronica worked as a a Scientific Writer at the RVC before moving into a learning development/ study skills role.
