   Are you a
recent graduate?
Graduate Outcomes is a government-led survey. It is
the biggest UK annual social survey and captures the perspectives and current status of recent graduates. It is led by HESA (Higher Education Statistics Agency) and is carried out for graduates of all UK higher education institutions.
All graduates who completed a higher education course in the UK after August 2017 will be asked to take part in the survey 15 months after they finish their studies. The survey aims to help current and future students gain an insight into career destinations and development.
To help us, as well as current and future students, please complete the survey. In order to make sure you receive this (and also other interesting news and information from the RVC), please ensure you keep your contact details and preferences up to date by using the RVC4Life portal (www.rvc.ac.uk/alumni) or emailing us at alumni@rvc.ac.uk
Please do respond if you receive a call or email about the Graduate Outcomes survey – your feedback is really important.
  RVC ALUMNI JOBS BOARD
Do you have vacancies where you work? Or are you looking for a new challenge yourself?
The RVC is committed to creating employable graduates that meet the needs of the veterinary
sector and beyond.
Our commitment to creating leaders of the future does not stop at helping our graduates into employment; we recognise that finding the right role, offering professional development and job satisfaction, is just as important for
our graduates and their employers.
With that in mind, we have an online Jobs Board for final year students and alumni to use and advertising on it is free of charge.
There are a number of vacancies advertised and the Jobs Board is constantly updated so why not take a look? A range of roles, both UK and overseas, are advertised.
You can find the Jobs Board at
www.rvc.ac.uk/alumnijobsboard
The RVC usually holds an annual Careers Fair in November. If you would like a stand in the future, where you have the opportunity to talk to students about your organisation and any upcoming opportunities that you have, please email alumni@rvc.ac.uk
 ALUMNI VOLUNTEERS ACROSS THE RVC
Here are some examples of the ways in which you can help the RVC and its current students
and research:
• Our External Relations team are always keen to receive your stories for Eclipse, the web pages, the prospectus and more. If you have
a story to tell, such as publishing a book, taking an interesting career path, or providing a testimonial for one of our courses then we would love to hear from you
• Our Student Recruitment and Admissions teams are always on the lookout for alumni to help with student interviews, either in the UK or abroad. Could you help?
• Our Careers Service would love to hear from any alumni willing to talk to current students about their careers at careers fairs and conferences we host – talks from a wide range of careers are always welcome
• Research conducted at the RVC to help pets spans from genetic studies to epidemiology investigating diseases across populations, and
everything in between. There are numerous research clinics and centres focused on particular conditions and treatments. Would you like to get involved?
• Our Clinical Investigations Centre and Vet Compass are always in need of practices to join their research projects – a current list can be found here: rvc.uk.com/cic-centre
If you would be interested in being involved please email alumni@rvc.ac.uk and we will put you in touch with the relevant teams
