  SUPPORTING THE RVC
ALUMNI COMING TOGETHER ACROSS THE GLOBE
Whether you studied as an international student, were a member of RVC staff or are now an ex-pat living abroad, keeping in touch with you is really important to us.
To support this, over the last few years, we have set up International Networking Groups in Hong Kong, New York, Boston and LA.
The groups are not only designed to help us keep in touch with you, but also enable you to keep in touch with each other!
If you are interested in joining one of
the groups or want to know more about what they do, please see our website: www.rvc.ac.uk/alumni-network, where it will also link you to specific social media pages set up for these groups, or email us: alumni@rvc.ac.uk
Don’t forget to join our main alumni social media pages for more information on RVC news and events:

We also have a number of alumni across the globe who have offered to be ambassadors. If you are interested in joining this network, please do get in touch.
  DATES FOR YOUR DIARY
We usually host a number of alumni receptions and gatherings throughout the year and when we are able to host in-person events again, it would be great to see you there.
In the meantime, we are excited to be hosting our first online alumni event and are constantly reviewing other scheduled events. We keep our website up to date so please keep checking there for more information. www.rvc.ac.uk/alumni

We would like to invite all of you to join us at 6.30pm for an online session with RVC Principal, Stuart Reid, when he will update you on RVC news and give you the chance to ask questions via Zoom, live after this talk. Whether you graduated last year or 50 years ago, we look forward to welcoming you.
Please register here: www.rvc.ac.uk/alumni and further details on how to join will be emailed to you.

   RVC Careers Service
Supporting students and alumni on their professional journey
If you graduated from the RVC within the last two years, did you know that you still have access to one to one support from professional Careers Consultants?
It could be that you want to discuss making a decision about your next
step or gain an insight into job hunting strategies and techniques, or you want to know how to make an effective application. Perhaps you have an upcoming interview that you would like to practice for or would like to have your CV checked. Whatever your careers question or query, we are here to help.
You should have access to RVC Learn for 12 months after graduation, so you will still have access to our wide range of resources, as well as being able to book an appointment via the Careers Service area. Alternatively, you can
arrange an appointment by emailing careers@rvc.ac.uk. We know
that RVC alumni can be spread out geographically around the world,
so we offer a range of remote appointment types.
If you graduated more than two years ago, we would also like to hear from you.
From time-to-time, we ask alumni to volunteer at careers events, for example our annual Biosciences Careers Conference (held in October each year).
We know that alumni, at whatever stage of their career and wherever that career has taken, can give valuable insights and advice to students.
If you are interested in sharing your experiences at a careers event, then please do get in touch with the Careers Service.
