                                                                               practice for a couple of years, rounding
                                                                               off my skills before completing an
                                                                               internship at Glasgow University’s animal
                                                                               hospital. I’ve now returned to my home
                                                                               county of Lancashire to locum and study
                                                                               for my certificate in surgery.
                                                                               My career has had many twists and turns
                                                                               and I expect there will be many more to
                                                                               come! I think the best part of being a vet
                                                                               is all the opportunities it gives you – it’s
                                                                               impossible to ever be bored!
