Heart disease is relatively common in domestic cats and these patients form a significant part of the caseload for many companion animal veterinary practices. In this podcast we discuss feline cardiomyopathy in general terms touching on issues such as classification of types, screening for subclinical cardiomyopathy, the relevance of dietary taurine, arterial thromboembolism, and prognostication. This podcast features  of the  who has a special interest in feline cardiomyopathy and aortic thromboemoblism and is always involved in research and progress in these areas.
