Camden vs
Hawkshead
Varsity

May 20th saw the
return of Camden vs.
Hawkshead Varsity
– and it was bigger
than ever before.
This year saw teams from hockey,
badminton, netball, football, volleyball,
rugby, rowing and tri and athletics
compete to determine who was the
superior campus – the Camden Cows
or the Hawkshead Corgis!
The sun was out, drinks were flowing
and even the ice cream van made
an appearance.
Team Hawkshead started the day strong,
with wins for the hockey and badminton
teams. Things got a little sticky in the
middle of the day with a draw in the
netball and a win for Camden in the
volleyball. Hawkshead came back strong
in the afternoon however, with wins in the
football and rowing – and an absolute
thrashing of Camden in the rugby.
Overall, it was a very successful day,
with minimal injuries, and fun had by all!
